How to Find an Au Pair / Nanny / Maid in Vienna?

Hi All,

We are moving to Vienna this summer with our then 6 month old twin boys. I am terrified of being in Vienna without any help. They are 3 months old now and a handful.

Please let me know how to find an excellent Au pair/Nanny/Maid in Vienna. I have no idea what is required. What is the scoop?

The first thing you should do is join the Vienna Babies Club (http://www.viennababiesclub.com). Do it now, don't wait till you get here. They are a great organization. They send weekly newsletters to members only with small ads which might help you find a nanny/au pair. They also have weekly meetings, social events and so on.

If you haven't found a nanny yet, I may have an excellent person for you. I have an American who wants to spend the year in Vienna. I just need to help her find info on the nanny visa. Can anyone help with the nanny visa? I'll also write to Vienna Babies Club. Thank you!
