The Women's Career Network (WCN) was founded in 1992 as an
independent subgroup of the American Women's Association. The WCN
acts as a resource and support network for women seeking to develop
and expand their career opportunities in Austria. The WCN forms part
of the EPWN, the European Professional Women's Network, whose mission
it is "To create a pan-European voice for professional women to
promote professional progress, power and impact".
All General meetings meetings are open to both WCN members and
non-members / visitors.
The meetings are held at Hotel Intercontinental, Johannesgasse 28,
1030 Wien. There will be time to socialize / network before the
program from 7pm - 7:30pm as well as afterwards. Drinks and light
food will also be available for purchase from the bar.
The WCN offers its members:
• the opportunity to develop leadership skills.
• technical and non-technical training seminars
(presentation techniques, public speaking, etc.).
• experience in event organization (international arts
benefits, training seminars, monthly meetings, etc.).
• the possibility to get to know other professional women
with a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
