I have worked for several years in the field, magazine layouts as well as in general publishing, both here and in the US, also have a degree in the arts (if degrees matter to you). Have Creative Suite 5 on a Mac at home and would be happy to give some private lessons at my place, Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday anytime after 4:00. You’d learn the programs really well: of course I can’t give a certificate like a training institue would, but could help you put together a portfolio of demo work, which might be worth more anyhow.
