New Pre-K English Speakers Pilot Incentive Program
To have an environment in Pre-K where English is the predominant language, a 2-year
pilot Pre-K English Speakers Incentive Program has been implemented starting in the
school year 2012/2013.
Families of native-English speaking children who are offered places in Pre-Kindergarten
will be offered a 50% discount on the Pre-K tuition fee. For families of Pre-K applicants
who have another native language but already speak English, the discount may be
offered only if the admissions screening results clearly indicate that the applicants speak
fluent English.
Parents must submit a complete application for Pre-K on behalf of their children (who
must turn four years old on or before September 1 of the school year entering Pre-K),
receive a positive admissions application review, and get positive admissions screening
results before they can be offered a place in Pre-K and possibly qualify for the incentive.
