I’ve had trouble finding reasonably priced antique furniture stores in Vienna.
I’ve seen two extremes:
The stores in the 7th and 8th districts around Neubaugasse that are really really expensive.
or
Caritas, which is ok besides a lot of their stuff being pretty junky.
Are there any stores where you can find decent antique furniture without paying insane prices?
We are looking mainly for 20th century, Mad Men style furniture.
Red Antiquitäten – owner is American and very knowledgeable.

For the other two, do you know how the prices are? I just feel like the antique shops in Vienna are so overpriced.

I find Dorotheum (1010 Wien, dorotheumgasse) a good place to look into. Depends on what one is looking for and as you know the inventory changes frequently.
I don’t exactly knows how furniture business goes in this country, back in the US, there are several ways to know and guide to point you in a right place to get cheap and reliable furniture and home improvement products.
