Didnt you buy a new tv a while back ? if so it surely has a HDMI port, so will your laptop, simply plug it in and it ssshhhhhhhhooouuulllddd do it automatically for you, if not go to control panel, screen settings and duplicate screen, this will mirror from your laptop to your tv…….
I find my vuze is fine… still getting around 800 kb/s which is roughly a movie in half an hour….
if you use Pbay from your web browser it will automatically come through your vuze anyway….

Yes new TV has HDMI ports and I have an extra cable!. Bought the first cable from Saturn, 20-25 Euros then bought 2 more off Amazon for 8…
I’m so bad with this stuff, thankyou so much for pointing out the basics so
OK Cool will try. Danke SCHÖN! 😀 I was very excited to see FilmOn for some reason I had never tried it before 🙄Yeah I dont know what it is with my Vuze thing, it actually would not even start up and I had to Google the problem. The issue as described was the ISP blocking it, so I had to select some option in Vuze to avoid that. Then I get 50-80Kb. Its crazy but oh well, I could only wish for 800, the fastest I have ever gotten was 350
Merci, chef, for the assistance, and hope the business is going very well.
Best wishes,

Download times are faster, file quality is better and the whole process is far easier than going for a public tracker like pbay where you are never entirely sure what you are getting.
September 4, 2012 at 9:46 pm #2211chefsmithMemberBox is probably better, you’re right.
With my working hours and the fact my wife insists in watching everything in German, I dont really need TV on demand, the little that i do watch im happy enough downloading through Vuze, I put my requests into the search engine before work and it downloads, automatically wirelessly transfers to my live hub box and i just hit play on my tv when I get home.
September 5, 2012 at 6:10 pm #2212WienAMemberIve only downloaded movies, so you can also just input TV show names. OK Thanks.
anagram – will check.
October 30, 2012 at 5:36 pm #2315rabblesMemberI know this is a late reply….. but I pay 17£ a year for an ip changer…. ‘easyhideip’ and its the best 17£ I ever spent.
I use it for all UK, Australia & US channels (for shows I cant download) although it covers many other countries also.
Until these countries sort out an international licence, giving me an option to pay…. this little gem works a treat for me and more than cures my sporadic boredum!!
October 30, 2012 at 7:45 pm #2316chefsmithMemberFor anybody with an Ipad or iphone 5, invest in apple tv.
The filmon app acts as a tv guide, press what you wanna watch and bang its wirelessly and faultlessly on the big screen.
And its free
Apple tv can be bought for 90 euro at the moment…….
December 26, 2012 at 2:06 pm #2427KingerMemberI have been using a smart DNS service recently and am impressed with the speed. It works a little different from an IP changer or VPN as it does not reduce the throughput of your internet speed in the way that the aforementioned options do.
Here is a link to their web site: http://www.unotelly.com/
If you are interested you can get a free 8 day trial and it is very easy to set up. After the trial it is not very expensive also, all the details are on their site
I hope it helps someone.Happy New Year
