may be somebody of this thread’s participants have heard if the latest EU laws permit citizens of the EU (and EEA) countries to use Austrian health system if they stay 6-8 months in the country. The last law seemed to permit even the planned treatments (with EU health card). However, new laws could have been introduced.I would appreciate being informed about known cases where persons used Austrian health system during their short stay.
It would be good to know as my husband and I are planning a sabbatical (from Norway) in Austria soon.
