Hi there,
Would anyone be able to recommend an English speaking Make-Up Artist and Hairdresser for my wedding in Vienna?
Many thanks!
I speak German so this wasn’t a concern of mine at my wedding but I had a really wonderful experience with these two places and I sure some of the staff speak English!
Makeup: MAC in Westbahnhof (I am pretty sure my makeup artist spoke English. the way they do with Weddings is you pay 140€ (70€ trial and again day of) and the fun part is that you may then choose products worth up to that price! So I had all the makeup for touch ups for keeps! I loved it! The makeup looked amazing and stayed put ALL day!
There’s a MAC in the Gerngross too.
There are similar setups with Bobby Brown and Benefit cosmetics in the big Douglas on Kärtnerstrasse if you prefer those (you can get your eyebrows waxed in the Benefit counter for 21€- super worth it. Only figured this out after the wedding unfortunately!).
Hair: I had my hair done in the hairdresser at Westbahnhof (next to the Ströck on the same floor as MAC) for simplicity’s sake and they did a fabulous job. Were really super sweet. It was pricey, like 120-200€ (I can’t remember! I think it was 120) but there was a trial and everything.
I was getting married at the zoo and ready in the hotel across from it so we just had to then hop on the tram and go there. Super simple. Super fun!
Hope that helps!
This Definite thing happend to my sister on the day of her wedding. She had a bossy beautician who thought she recognized what looked best on my sister and overlooked her wishes. While she was doing it, on the off chance that you didnt like it you ought to have talked up and said as much. It doesnt matter wheather she had a tremendous customer she was expecting, you were the spouse and it’s her obligation to make an expert, flawless showing and in the event that she didnt do as such, she shouldnt be in the hairdressing business! http://www.topwedding.co.uk/prom-dresses-uk
